LOCATION

Where are you located? 
Grecotel Ilia Palms is located in Kastro, Loutra Kyllinis, in the West Peloponnese region of Greece, right on a sandy beach overlooking the Ionian Sea. It is part of the Grecotel Riviera Olympia & Aqua Park resort complex, about 45 minutes from Araxos Airport and roughly 80 km from the port of Patras, near Kyllini town with ferry connections to Zakynthos. The resort is also conveniently close to the historic site of Ancient Olympia. 

How far is the main town? 
The resort is located in Loutra Kyllinis (part of the Kastro Kyllini area) and is approximately 14 km (9 miles) from the centre of Kyllini town and port, which is the main local town nearby. 

What is the weather like? 
Kyllini has hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters, with temperatures ranging from 12–30°C (54–86°F). The warmest period is from mid-June to early September, peaking in August at 30°C (86°F). The coolest months are from late November to late March, with January being the coldest at 12°C (54°F). 

What Time Zone is followed? 
Greece follows GMT+3 during the summer months (from late March until October) and GMT+2 during the winter months. 

TRANSPORTATION

How do I get there? 
You can reach Grecotel Ilia Palms by arranging a private transfer or taxi from Araxos Airport, which is about 45 minutes away. Patras Airport/Port is approximately 80 km (50 miles) from the resort, Kalamata Airport is 155 km away, and Athens Airport is 329 km away. 
You also have the option to arrive on the island of Zakynthos and take the regular ferry to Kyllini Port. The ferry journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. From the port to the hotel, it is 14.9 km. Transfers can be booked in advance through the hotel; alternatively, you may take a taxi (available 24/7), use a rental car or motorbike arranged via the concierge desk, drive from Athens (approximately 4 hours), or travel by public bus. Schedules are available from reception or the concierge. 

Are private transfers available? 
Private luxury transfers to and from the hotel are available upon request at an additional charge. A selection of premium vehicles is offered to suit your preferences. To arrange a transfer, please contact our Reservations Department at [email protected]

Are there any complimentary shuttle services available to/from the hotel? 
The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle service. However, we can arrange private or shared transfers or book a taxi for an additional fee. For assistance, please contact our reservations team. 

What modes of transportation are available at the destination? 
At Grecotel Ilia Palms, guests can use taxis available 24/7 through the hotel reception, arrange a private transfer in advance, or rent a car via the concierge desk. The resort is also accessible by public buses, which run at specific times with schedules available at reception, and for those arriving by ferry at Kyllini Port, transfers by taxi or minivan can be arranged in advance upon request. Additionally, guests driving from nearby cities, such as Athens, can easily reach the resort by car along the Peloponnese highways.

What are the check-in and check-out hours? 
Check-in: 3PM.  
Check-out: 11AM  

What documents or items are required at check-in? 
Kindly present your ID card or passport and the credit card used to book your reservation. 

Can I arrange an early check-in or late check-out? 
If the room is unoccupied, early check-in or late check-out may be possible. However, to guarantee availability for early morning arrivals or late evening departures, booking an extra night is recommended. For late check-out, guests may inquire at reception the day before departure; options and charges vary depending on availability. 

Can I use the hotel facilities before check-in or after check-out? 
All hotel facilities are available to Grecotel Ilia Palms guests from the moment the check-in process is completed. Following check-out, guests may request to keep their account open to include additional charges. If the account is settled at check-out, guests may still use the facilities for the remainder of the day, with any additional services paid for directly. 

Are luggage storage services available? 
The hotel provides a dedicated luggage area where we can safely store your bags and personal belongings before check-in or after check-out. 

Are twin beds available? 
One double bed and one single bed are available in all the room types. 

What is the size of the extra bed? 
The capacity of the rooms does not allow for the placement of extra beds. 

Is there an additional charge for a child staying in the room? 
Children up to 12 years of age stay free of charge in their parents’ room, applicable to select room types and during specific periods. 

Does the room include complimentary coffee or tea facilities? 
All rooms are equipped with tea and coffee facilities, including daily replenishment of instant coffee and tea. 

Is it possible to guarantee a specific room number or location before arrival? 
Special requests regarding room number, location, and proximity are noted with care and will be accommodated whenever possible depending on room type and availability. We kindly recommend informing us prior to arrival via e-mail at [email protected]

Does the hotel provide an iron and ironing board in the room? 
An iron and ironing board are available for our guests and can be delivered to your room for a limited time for security reasons. Professional ironing services are also available at an additional charge. 

Is there a safe in the room? 
All room types offer a safety deposit box. 

BOOKING & PAYMENT

How do I book?

How do I pay for my reservation? 
Once your reservation is confirmed, our reservations team will provide a secure online payment link to complete the payment by credit card. Alternatively, payments may also be made via bank transfer. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash. For credit card payments, we support VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Union Pay, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club. 
Please note that the same credit card used at the time of booking must be presented upon check-in, along with a valid photo ID or passport of the cardholder. 
In accordance with local legislation, please note that partial or full payment of invoices exceeding €500 in cash is not permitted. All payments above this amount must be made by credit or debit card, or via bank transfer. 

What is the payment and cancellation policy? 
Pre-payment is required in order to guarantee reservations. The exact timing for payment, as well as how far in advance you can cancel free of charge, depends on your stay dates and the specific offer under which you have booked. 

Are there any additional fees? 
In compliance with legal regulations, a mandatory environmental tax called the Climate Crisis Resilience Fee is charged. From April 1st to October 31st, the fee is €15.00 per room, per night. This fee is settled directly by guests at check-out. 

DINING AND MEAL PLANS

Are all restaurants operational? 
Guests of Grecotel Ilia Palms may use the dining outlets located at Grecotel LUXME Oasis. They can enjoy the breakfast and dinner buffet at The Seasons main restaurant or choose from any à la carte restaurants with a €20 credit per adult and €10 per child (reservation required, subject to availability). 
Restaurant availability may vary depending on seasonality and weather conditions. 
There is also the option to exchange dinner for lunch at the main buffet restaurant. 

What meal plans are available? 
Bed & Breakfast
Includes a daily breakfast buffet served at the main restaurant 

Half Board
Includes daily breakfast and dinner at the main restaurant of Grecotel LUXME Oasis, The Seasons main restaurant (buffet), or a choice of all à la carte restaurants with a €20 credit per adult and €10 per child (reservation required). 
Dinner may be exchanged for lunch at the main restaurant. 

What meal plans are available for children? 
Children up to 12 years of age enjoy a complimentary lunch buffet in the Main Restaurant at the ‘Tasty Corner’ (12:30–14:30), as well as free dining at the à la carte restaurant from a dedicated kids’ menu. Guests aged over 12 are considered adults. 

Do you have baby food available? 
For infants aged 0–2 years, baby food can be prepared according to your preferences. Please contact the Restaurant Manager or the Guest Service Department in advance to place your order. Our staff is also happy to assist with warming baby bottles or baby food. 

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions? 
We are happy to accommodate special dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and halal options. Please inform us in advance of any dietary preferences or allergies so our chefs can tailor your dining experience to your needs. 

Are there any dress-codes for the restaurants? 
We kindly request all guests to adhere to a resort casual attire with appropriate footwear while dining with us. 
Evening Dress Code (after 18:00) : Elegant, Smart Casual - Swimwear, sportswear and flip-flops are not allowed. 

Can private dinners be arranged? 
Create and personalize your own private dining experience, prepared and served at the location of your choice. Our chefs are delighted to accommodate any special dietary or meal requirements. 

Can we book a table in advance? 
We recommend booking your restaurant reservations in advance. You may reserve in advance via the Grecotel mobile application, available for download on all iOS and Android devices. Please note that reservation time slots for the upcoming week are updated every Thursday. Alternatively, reservations can be made at the front desk upon arrival or at any time during your stay. 

Is early breakfast or a breakfast box & lunch box available? 
Yes, early breakfast, breakfast boxes, and lunch boxes are available upon request. Please ensure you place your request at the front desk at least one day in advance by 20:00.

Do you have a spa?

Do we have to book the spa in advance? 
While it is not necessary to book in advance, we recommend booking Elixir Alchemy Spa treatments and massages at least a week in advance. To make a reservation, contact our reservations team via email at: [email protected], or call +30 26230 64400 to guarantee your preferred timing. 

What are the spa facilities? 
Grecotel Riviera Olympia & Aqua Park features the Elixir Spa, offering massages, holistic treatments, a sauna, steam bath, relaxation area, and fitness facilities, designed for complete relaxation and rejuvenation. 

Do you have male therapists? 
Male therapists are available at Elixir Alchemy Spa. 

Do you have a gym? 
Yes, we have a well-equipped indoor gym and an outdoor gym. 

Do you have a salon? 
A salon is available at the Elixir Alchemy Spa (upon request). 

KIDS CLUB

Do you have a kids club? 
Our Grecoland kids club is a dedicated, fully equipped space designed for children aged 4–12, offering a variety of creative and educational activities supervised by trained staff. Children aged 3 years old and below are also welcome to use the kids club with the presence of a parent or legal guardian. The club operates six days a week throughout the season. 

Do you provide special amenities for babies and toddlers? 
Yes. Our GrecoBaby service provides a wide range of amenities for infants and toddlers (aged 0–3 years) to ensure a comfortable stay. Items can be requested in advance by completing the Grecobaby Form >

Are babysitting services available? 
Yes. Babysitting services are available at an additional cost and can be arranged through our reception.

What indoor & outdoor activities are available? 
Grecotel Ilia Palms offers a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including swimming pools, a private sandy beach, water sports, tennis courts, fitness facilities, yoga, and wellness classes. Guests can also enjoy cycling, nature walks, cultural excursions, and access to the Aqua Park, with activities and programs available for both adults and children. 

Are there good diving spots near The Palms? 
At the Grecotel Riviera Olympia Resort, we cooperate with a watersports center located near the resort. 

Do you do Excursion boat trips? 
We offer various types of boat trips and a wide selection of boats, to enjoy the sea breezes of Zakynthos and Kefalonia and the emerald waters of the Ionian Sea. Our trips include cruises, local boat excursions, snorkeling excursions, and fishing experiences. Our Concierge Team is ready to provide you with plenty of information to help plan the trip of your dreams. 

Do we have to pre-book Watersports, Scuba Diving and Excursions? 
We recommend booking excursions at least one week prior to arrival to ensure availability. Alternatively, you may explore available options and suggestions with our concierge team soon after your arrival. Pre-booking is not required for watersports activities. 

Is the aqua park entry free of charge? 
Yes, all Aqua Park activities are offered on a complimentary basis for our guests. 

Is it possible to use aqua park facilities without room reservation?
No, the aqua park is only for hotel guests. 

GENERAL INFO

Is the hotel accessible to mobility-impaired guests? 
Not all departments are accessible to guests in wheelchairs. However, there are ramp sections beside most of the steps in the hotel.  

Are pets allowed in the hotel? 
Pets (dogs) are not allowed in our hotel. Only service animals are permitted to accompany their handler on all hotel premises. View pet policy > 

Do you have a medical facility or pharmacy nearby? 
There is a healthcare center located 16.5 km away in the city of Gastouni. The public hospital is located 42.6 km away in the city of Pyrgos, while private clinics are approximately 98 km away in the city of Patras. A 24/7 on-call resort doctor is also available on the hotel premises for an additional charge. 
In case a guest requires medication, it can be ordered through the Front Desk and delivered within the same day. If the pharmacy has already dispatched the day’s orders and the guest places the request later, the medication can be delivered by taxi at an additional transportation charge. The nearest pharmacy is located 11.6 km away, in the area of Vartholomio. 

Is there 24-hour reception service? 
Yes. Reception is available 24 hours a day. 

Is there an ATM machine on the hotel premises? 
Yes, there is an ATM machine in the Grecotel LUXME Oasis near the reception area. 

Is there an exchange office at the reception desk? 
No, the hotel does not provide currency exchange services. 

Do you provide Wi-Fi, and is it free? 
We provide complimentary Wi-Fi access. 

What are the parking options at the hotel? 
There is a parking area on the hotel premises. 

What plug adapter do I need to bring? 
The hotel is equipped with Type C power plugs and sockets. Type C plugs feature two round parallel pins that connect to corresponding two-hole wall sockets. The standard voltage supplied is 220 V. 

Is the tap water drinkable? 
Tap water in Kyllini is safe for everyday use such as washing and brushing teeth. However, due to its mineral content and taste, we recommend bottled water for drinking.
